This position requires working knowledge of a warehouse/assembly/manufacturing type business.
As a Project manager you would be responsible for the completion of specific projects including; planning, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the project you are working on. Project managers will work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the sales team upon receipt of a PO to develop the following:
Project time line
Project budget
Specialty parts to be ordered
Shipping schedule
Special packaging requirements
Work with Design team on drawing specifications or corrections
Work with team to troubleshoot and offer creative solutions to customer requests
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive and positive, with internal and external customers and coworkers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have 5+ years in Project Management – preferably in material handling industry
Strong Leadership skills – you must be able to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decision for your employees
Exceptional time management
Exceptional multi-tasking ability
Analytical Skills – Must be able to “think on your feet” and have creative problem solving abilities.
Project managers are also expected to keep and maintain a budget for each project. You will need to be confident in using math skills.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required

Technical Skills
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Ability to work with hand tools, fasteners and hardware.
Basic understanding of reading and interpreting CAD drawings
Working knowledge of personal computer, keyboard, and various software programs.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
